Massachusetts stumpage price information, 1959 to 1988
Stumpage data for the state of Massachusetts were gathered on a sporadic basis from 1959 to 1988 by the Marketing and Utilization staff of the Bureau of Forestry.
Data were sometimes grouped by county into the following four categories:
- Group A: Berkshire, Franklin, Hampshire, and Hampden counties
- Group B: Worcester, Middlesex, and Norfolk Counties
- Group C: Essex County
- Group D: Plymouth, Barnstable, Dukes, and Nantucket Counties
Sometimes, arrows appear next to prices, indicating either an increase [arrow pointing up] or decrease [arrow pointing down] since the last price survey.
