Roadside purchase only
·
No purchases this quarter but doing a salvage
cut on adelgid defoliated hemlock for a non-profit landowner
·
Cut logs on land I own
·
Zero for firewood yet demand is high. Very high
prices for sugar maple, black cherry and red oak. Red maple is mixed, white
wood will spike to 70-100 yet most is poor, average is low
·
I did not buy any stumpage during this period.
·
No timber lots purchased at this time
·
Markets are great. Stumpage prices are going up
·
Firewood moving well. Poor conditions everywhere
in woods.
·
Not good
·
No purchase of stumpage for this period
·
Some mills screaming for logs, paying more money
as loggers have been battling poorer ground conditions. Veneer prices still a
wonderful thing for many Landowners
·
Better markers for chips and pulp. Good hardwood
pulp markets
·
No sales during this time frame went out to bid.

I did not buy any standing timber during this
time but still appreciate this information. I usually get my logs from land
clearers and tree services. My Canadian markets seem very strong and they have
been all year. I wish I had a bunch of sugar maple and cherry!
